Literacy and Numeracy Intervention

8:45am -2:45pm, Monday to Friday (27 ½ hours per week)

Term-time only

Pay grade: Level 4 Point 8 (FTE £20,493)

Fixed term until 15th July 2022

Start date 31st January 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work with learners from the full age range to help support and challenge them in the development of their Literacy and Numeracy skills. Candidates should be organised and work well on their own and within a team, with excellent communication skills.

The role will involve:

Small group and individual intervention sessions.
Working with HoDs to plan, and independently planning, activities for intervention sessions.
Supporting teachers with intervention programmes such as Accelerated Reader and Manga High.
Administration of data linked to intervention programmes.

Due to the nature of the role, excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

Candidates must be qualified to Level 3 or above.
